Our organizers have worked tirelessly on planning this event and we know it’s going to be a one-of-a-kind occasion. Take a look at this section to find out everything that you need to know: date & time, travel advice, dress code, and many other details. We want you to have the best time at our event, so please don’t hesitate to get in touch if you have any questions or special requests.

The Gullah Geechee Herbal Gathering is a sacred curated space for Black and Indigenous herbalists, healers, farmers, bodyworkers, and other practitioners created by a Gullah Geechee holistic health practitioner in order for us to converge, educate, heal and uplift each other. This is in alignment with the call for us to do the work we must do right now in the current climate.

Everyone regardless of race, sexual orientation, religious beliefs are welcome to attend. We invite you all to gather with us, but understand this is an unapologetic Black space. Our focus and agenda is geared towards Black People. It is our mission and duty to cater to our community first, please attend with this in mind. Over our two day gathering, there will be over 20 in person plant knowledge, holistic health centered and cultural workshops taught by passionate and committed Black and Indigenous practitioners, healers and artisans.

We will also have a few workshops for the children, an ancestor altar, silent auction, plant and seed swap, community bonfire, an African marketplace and a drum circle. We will also have a dedicated wellness village where you can receive holistic health consultations, body work and more. This all takes place on privately black owned Gullah Geechee land. Onsite tickets will not be available. Ticket sales will be limited to maintain our intimate experience. There will be no virtual workshops or replays. This is an in-person event that will take place rain or shine.
