The Gullah Geechee Herbal Gathering isn’t just a weekend event. It’s a homecoming, a healing ground, and a celebration of who we are as a people and our herbal traditions from around the Diaspora. Rooted in the wisdom of our ancestors and guided by the land, this gathering comes to life because folks like you step up to help carry the vision of our beloved founder. Whether you're lending your hands, sharing your gifts, or supporting from behind the scenes, there’s a place for you here. This is community work, spiritual work, and legacy work. This conference thrives because of the love, labor, and leadership of those who step forward to contribute. If you feel called, come get involved. You're welcome to be here in the circle.

Volunteer
Be the heartbeat of the Gathering.
Volunteers are the soul force that keeps everything flowing behind the scenes. From helping with registration, guiding guests, setting up tents, or tending the healing village, your time and energy support something sacred.
Vounteers are asked to commit to a full weekend of support. One day applications will not be accepted.
Applications open soon, please refrain from contacting us about volunteer opportunities. Stay tuned.

Vendors
Bring your medicine to the marketplace.
Our African Marketplace is a space for plant medicine, art, culture and community economics. We welcome vendors of herbal products ( no cannabis), body care, books, live plants, handmade goods, ANCESTRAL tools, sacred adornments, delicious and soul nurturing foods, and unique clothing.
Whether you're a seasoned herbalist or just starting your healing business, this is your chance to connect directly with folks who value and support your work.

Out of deep respect for their time and the intimate nature of this offering, we are not accepting additional teacher applications at this time.
Please do not contact us about teaching at the 2026 Gathering.
