2026 Gullah Geechee Herbal Gathering

The 5th Annual Gullah Geechee Herbal Gathering is a sacred, multigenerational herbal conference held on Gullah Geechee family land in Johns Island, South Carolina. Each year we gather to learn, connect, and celebrate the healing traditions of our people.

For this anniversary year only, 2026 will be unlike any other — a once-in-a-generation opportunity where every class will be led by elders from across the Diaspora. This rare focus honors our theme, At Our Elders’ Feet, and creates space to receive directly from those who carry the deepest roots of our traditions.

Throughout the weekend you will experience more than classes. The Gathering includes healing sessions, networking and fellowship opportunities, a community altar ritual, and a vibrant Black-owned small business marketplace that celebrates the creativity of our people.
